22 year old woman gangraped by 5 men-Liveupdatesmovies
New Delhi: A 22-year-old charged five people, including two brothers, in-laws, of raping her in south Delhi, police said Wednesday. In his complaint to the police, she reported that she was gangraped by five men on Tuesday night. The other three involved in the crime were friends of his brothers, in-laws, police said. The defendants have all been arrested.
According to the woman, a resident of RK Puram, men came to meet her husband for personal work on Tuesday night. The woman said her husband was not home at the time, but when he returned home, she found the man drinking alcohol there.
"She went to go elsewhere, but the men overpowered her and took her to a vacant lot," said a police official, quoting the complaint of the victim. "They snatched her purse and took turns to rape.'s Wife somehow escaped and sought help from a passerby made a call to the control room of the police," said the official.
She was rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre for medical examination. His medical examination confirmed gangrape ", the official said, citing the woman's complaint. Based on his statement, said the police officer, a case of gangrape was recorded. Defendants were arrested after night raids, and brought before a judge who sent five to judicial custody for 14 days, the official said
