72 year old widower married son wife
KENDRAPADA: In a case of misplaced affection, a widower of 72 years old, he married his 24 year old daughter-in-law in the village of Jagatsinghpur Sapur under Balikuda police limits. Surprised, villagers recently ostracism Renuka Mallick and his father-in-law Harihar Mallick and ordered the couple to leave the village to break old social tradition. Both were staying in a rented house in the village of Kendrapada Bagada.
On Saturday, some villagers also opposed Bagada their stay in the village and informed police.
The police went to the village and Renuka hosted on a short stay home in Kendrapada and detained Harihar. "We are investigating the case," said Kendrapada Sadar police station IIC T Pradhan.
While Harihar's wife died five years ago, no news about his son Bichitra Mallick after going to Bangalore to work as a bricklayer for four years.
